Mac Mail - Setup your mailbox in 6 easy steps.
1. Click on the Mail menu, then Preferences...
2. At the Accounts window, click the Add Account button.
3. Click on the popup menu for Account Type and choose POP.
Enter the Description of the type of account you are creating (Work, personal).
Enter your Email Address.
Enter the name you would like to be displayed when you send an email.
Enter your Incoming mail server (mail.yourdomain.com (or .net, .org, etc.)
Enter your User Name.
Type in the Password provided to you.
You must set your Outgoing Mail Server to your ISP's Outgoing Mail Server.Click Ok.

SBC Global SATX : smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
SBC Global Laredo : smtp.sbcglobal.com

4. Click on the Advanced tab and check the three checkboxes.
Click on the popup menu and select Right away. Click Ok.
5. Congratulations, you're email has been setup!
6. Click the Get Mail button to check your email.
1. Click on the Tools menu then E-mail Accounts...
2. Click Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
3. At the Server Type window select POP3 and click Next.
4. Under User Information fill out Your Name and E-mail Address fields.
Tab over to Incoming Mail Server (POP3) and enter mail.yourdomain.tld.
The Outgoing mail server (SMTP) must reflect your ISP's SMTP server.

Next fill out the User Name (youremail@yoursite.com) and Password fields and check Remember Password.
Finally click Test Account Settings . . .
5. If you get the Congratulations message, you're mailbox is ready to go!
Click Close and Next on the previous screen.
6. Congratulations, your email is setup! Click Finish.

3. Enter the name you would like to be displayed when you send an email. Click Next.
4. Enter your Email Address. Click Next.
5. Enter your Incoming mail server (mail.yourdomain.tld)
You must set your Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to your ISP's Outgoing Mail Server. Click Next.

6. Your Account name is your full email address (yourname@yourdomain.com).
Type in the Password provided to you and check Remember Password. Click Next.
7. Congratulations, you're email has been setup! Click Finish and proceed to the last step.
8. Click the Send/Recv button to check your email.
